About the Artist
Ana Karina
I was born in Venezuela and trained as an Electronic Engineer, a path that shaped the way I. understand structure, logic, and systems. For years, art was not part of my daily life-it existed somewhere distant, unspoken.
It wasn't until 2022, after the birth of my second child, that something shifted. In the quiet and intensity of postpartum, I found myself drawn into a space of expression I had never fully allowed before.
What began as an opening became something irreversible. A door I didn't know existed was suddenly there-and once opened, it never closed again.
My work is deeply connected to that transition-between who I was and who I was becoming.
There is both intuition and structure in the way I create-perhaps a reflection of my background, where precision meets emotion.
I don't aim to control the work entirely; I allow it to reveal itself, layer by layer.
